Part 1: Dr. Voth and Dr. French discuss the genealogy of Jesus and why the Book of Matthew's lineage points us to a larger narrative in the story.

Part 2: In the New Testament, the figure of the devil is much more prominent than in the Old Testament. Could there be a reason for that? And if so, why? Dr. Voth and Dr. French discuss how the devil is presented as a counterpart to Jesus and what this means for us as believers.

Part 3: If you were not a person of faith, miracles would definitely seem out of the ordinary. By definition, miracles are "a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency." Could there be something or someone else at work here? Dr. Voth and Dr. French discuss how miracles, although weird, point to the divinity of Christ.

Part 4: Most believers can look at the Old Testament and see people turning into a pillar of salt and think, "That's pretty weird, but that's Old Testament". Well, here come Ananias and Sapphira. Dr. Voth and Dr. French discuss this crazy scene and what lesson can be learned from this story for our own walk today.

Part 5: On the surface, the rapture seems like a pretty crazy concept: all believers will suddenly be taken up into heaven? What happens to the others? Dr. Voth and Dr. French discuss this apocalyptic phenomenon and what we are to focus on as followers of Christ.

Part 6: The lake of fire sounds - hellish right? The bottom line, the lake of fire is not a good place to be. Dr. Voth and Dr. French discuss this hellish place and what Scripture tells us about it. Instead of leaving us on the lake of fire, they talk to us about The New Jerusalem and what this means for us as believers.
